Before I started Thousand, even though I had been a cyclist for a long time, I never wore a helmet. However, after losing a friend in a fatal bike crash, I realized I needed to make a change. I didn't want to settle for the unappealing "sci-fi" helmets available on the market, so I took it upon myself to design a helmet that was both stylish and safe.

We decided to name our company "Thousand" with the goal of saving 1000 lives by creating helmets that people would actually want to wear. Our name serves as a constant reminder of our mission and the reason behind everything we do.
