The objective of this challenging cast metal puzzle is to take the three parts apart and then put them back together. According to the designer, each of the three pieces features a spiral (vortex) body and two protrusions. When these pieces are assembled, they form a flat object. To undo this complex entanglement, one must unbind them in three dimensions. This puzzle was created by Yamamoto in 2008 and has approximate dimensions of 2 1/8" x 2" x ¾".
